Job Description
As a Tester at REMITAP, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the QA Lead and development teams to design and execute test plans, identify and report bugs, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
● Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of our software products.
● Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools.
● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.
● Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and performance.
● Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into the testing process.
● Conduct performance and security testing to ensure system reliability and security.
● Prepare and present reports on testing activities, progress, and results.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● 1-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
● Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
● Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, APPIUM, or similar.
● Understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
● Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
● Focus on scalability, performance, and test-driven development.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in the fin-tech industry.
● Certification in software testing or quality assurance.
● Experience with performance and security testing.
