Solar Field Technician

Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled Solar O&M Field Technician with strong experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both central and string inverters, along with a solid understanding of solar PV system components, safety standards, and field diagnostics. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on C&I solar PV systems. Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of central and string inverters (e.g., SMA, ABB, Sungrow, TMEIC, Schneider, etc.). Execute on-site inspections, electrical testing, thermal imaging, IV curve tracing, and system performance evaluations. Identify and resolve issues related to modules, combiner boxes, disconnects, AC/DC wiring, communication systems, and monitoring hardware.
