Solar PV Design Engineer

Climate17 are working alongside a leading independent energy specialist who develop commercial and large-scale solar PV assets. They are actively searching for an experienced Solar Design Engineer to help them successfully design, develop and deliver new solar PV projects across the UK.

Location: Remote + UK wide travel, as required.

The successful candidate will manage the project from initial site visits for the design all the way through to managing the EPC contractors during delivery and handover.

Responsibilities

• Development of solar proposals using modelling software
• Develop drawings and layouts to a professional standard for use in planning, proposals and grid applications
• Attend technical site visits to assess the appropriateness of initial designs and revise models if necessary
