Overview

As a Civil Engineer Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the Waste Management Practice for our Monroeville, PA office, you’ll support in-office and field activities primarily associated with solid waste landfills and transfer station facilities. In-office activities include engineering tasks such as tabulating laboratory and field test data, compilation of technical reports, stormwater management system design, and landfill gas collection system design. Field activities include Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) tasks such as monitoring and documenting landfill cell, cap, and gas collection system construction, and use of equipment for monitoring landfill emissions. You will interact and communicate with CEC office and field staff, clients, and contractors.
