SolidWorks CAD Engineer

Key Responsibilities • SolidWorks Modeling & Drafting: Create parametric parts, drawings, and complex/large assemblies, apply configurations, design tables, weldments, sheet metal, and surfacing features. Generate production drawings with GD&T and clear manufacturing notes. • Large Assembly Ownership: Build and maintain assemblies with thousands of components using Large Design Review, Lightweight & SpeedPak techniques, simplified reps, envelopes, display states, and performance profiling; drive stability and load time improvements for daily use by engineering and manufacturing. • PLM (Teamcenter): Manage ECR/ECO/ECN workflows, maintain EBOM/MBOM structures, revision/baseline control, effectivity, and release to manufacturing; coordinate Teamcenter integrations with downstream systems per program needs. • Design for Manufacturability & Quality: Execute tolerance stack ups, apply ASME Y14 series GD&T, and incorporate DFM/DFA practices, resolve build issues with production, test, and qua...
