Solution Architect

Ecolab is looking for a Solution Architect to design and implement technical solutions to meet the business needs of Ecolab Global Business Services (GBS) and Corporate Platforms organization. The Solution Architect will apply engineering and programming best practices to craft the overall technical vision collaborating with other technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure the technical solution meets the business needs. Self-motivated professional, able to function independently and within a team structure.

    • What You Will Do:

  • Develop blueprints for solution design utilizing existing tools/framework or new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Security to ensure final solution blueprint meets expectations
  • Assess existing technologies and evaluate new technologies to design solutions that are scalable, secure and cost effective.
  • Contribute to overall technical design on new projects or when enhancing existing platforms.
  • Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate technical details into understandable terms for business leaders
  • Collaborate with technology peers and third-party vendor technical teams on design features/capabilities
  • Create and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation and diagrams

    • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Technology
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience designing software architecture including cloud computing and SaaS solutions.
  • Knowledge of security, database, hardware, networks and cloud & virtualization concepts
  • Experience with solution design for platforms running in Azure or AWS
  • Experience with integration platforms and ETL tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, Fivetran)
  • Able to act independently, seeking guidance and advice as appropriate

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business Acumen: Order to Cash (OTC), Source to Pay (STP), Record to Report (RTR)
  • Experience with SAP integrated business applications
  • Experience with Lucidchart or similar tool
