Solution Architect

Job Title: Solution Architect / Technical Architect

Competency Level: P5 / P6 / P7

Experience:

• 15+ years of IT experience
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud offerings, specifically Microsoft Azure, including: Azure Migrate, Azure SQL (IaaS/PaaS), Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure IAM

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality technical and solution designs using established architecture frameworks
• Conduct AS-IS assessments of applications and design target-state architectures; obtain approvals from the client Architecture Review Board
• Perform on-premises and public cloud infrastructure assessments using Azure Migrate
• Lead cloud solutioning activities for large-scale, complex migrations to Azure
• Ensure proposed solutions align with Azure strategy, stakeholder management requirements, and business, application, and infrastructure needs
• Provide solutions that consider commercial value (not costing) and overall architecture effectiveness
• Work with clients across various industries, including banking, healthcare, and insurance
• Understand customer infrastructure landscapes and design Azure Landing Zones
• Create Azure target architecture designs with Bill of Materials (BoM), licensing, and pricing details
• Prepare Azure solution architecture diagrams covering all Azure services, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
• Troubleshoot Azure and Windows environments, addressing processor, networking, clusters, I/O, and memory-related issues

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Design infrastructure and data storage solutions tailored to client needs
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) strategies
• Create identity, governance, and monitoring solutions on Azure
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customer teams, and project managers to understand migration requirements and provide appropriate solutions

Preferred Certifications:

• AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
