Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect  to lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and strategic planning for a major upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (from v8.2 to v9.1) and the migration of existing systems to Microsoft Azure's Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in both Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure, with a strong background in modernization, compliance, and secure cloud transformation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead the solution architecture for upgrading Microsoft Dynamics 365 v8.2 to v9.1.
• Define and implement the cloud migration strategy to Microsoft Azure GCC.
• Develop secure, scalable, and compliant architecture solutions that align with government cloud standards.
• Collaborate with development, testing, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure architectural consistency across the solution.
• Guide the configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 CRM to ensure business requirements are met.
• Design Azure landing zones, networking, identity management, and governance structures.
• Ensure seamless integration between Dynamics 365, legacy systems, and external platforms using Azure services.
• Drive performance optimization, data integrity, and security across Dynamics 365 and Azure workloads.
• Serve as the main architectural advisor for all cloud and CRM-related modernization efforts.
• Prepare architecture documentation, system diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Provide thought leadership on Dynamics 365 and Azure best practices, modernization patterns, and GCC compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure.
• Proven experience in leading Dynamics 365 upgrades and Azure-based migrations, including to GCC.
• Expertise in Dynamics 365 customization, integration, plugin development, and deployment.
• Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD, Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep templates, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
• Experience designing and implementing Azure landing zones in a regulated or government environment.
• Ability to architect secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions across CRM and cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect Expert) are highly preferred.
