The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is currently undergoing a period of strong growth that requires significant expansion of our manufacturing base to meet the rising demand in the electrical distribution market. In addition, we have recently been through a major IT reorg that has led to the creation of the Transformer BST or Business Solution Team, that is tasked with supporting the Transformer business with its IT needs.

This role is part of the Transformer BST and will function as the Solution Architect for the shopfloor IT environment, including MES (Manufacturing Execution System), machine connectivity and machine monitoring solutions.

The Solution Architect is responsible for the design, integrity and quality of the IT solutions and associated services delivered to the Business in this domain.
