Solution Architect (Java) – Insurance systems – Zurich
Contract role – 2 days a week on site

We're supporting a large insurance programme in Switzerland and are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (Java) to join a global claims transformation initiative.

This is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership – shaping how global claims components are implemented and adapted locally, while guiding distributed development teams.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the design and development of ABS Claims solutions (strong focus on Claims File)
• Analysing and implementing components within the Swiss claims landscape
• Defining local architecture and required enhancements
• Guiding and supporting developers across multiple locations
• Ensuring high code quality through reviews, testing, and best practice
• Working closely with stakeholders to align global standards with local needs
