Solution Architect – Drive a Major National Transformation (Azure & Hybrid Cloud)

Step into a high-impact architecture role shaping complex, business-critical platforms in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll partner with delivery teams and stakeholders to define target-state architectures, guide solution design, and ensure consistent governance across multiple workstreams—balancing security, scalability, and real-world delivery constraints.

Location: QLD / ACT / VIC / NSW / TAS

  • Contract Duration: 12 months (ASAP start)
  • Security Clearance Requirement: NV1 clearance required
  • Closing Date: 10am Thursday 22 January 2026

Essential Tasks

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex, multi-tier applications and integrations
  • Provide technical governance and architectural guidance across agile delivery teams
  • Produce clear architecture artefacts/specifications for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid solutions
  • Evaluate options and trade-offs (cost, performance, scalability) and document decisions

Key Criteria

  • 3–5+ years’ experience as a Solution/Application Architect on large transformation programs
  • Strong design experience across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Hands-on technical capability across Azure services (e.g., API Management, Functions/Logic Apps, Service Bus, App Service Environments) and Azure DevOps
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into plain English and influence stakeholders
