Base pay range

A$120,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr

Location: Sydney

Salary: $120,000-140,000 Base + Super + Commission (Spot and Annual)

Workmode: You may be required to do some work from the AWS office in the CBD 1-2 days per week, apart from that you'll be working from home as it's an otherwise fully remote company with a geographically dispersed team.

We’re partnering with a fast-growing AWS Advanced Partner supporting startups and scale-ups across Australia. They’re hiring a Technical Consultant to lead pre-sales activities, convert AWS-sourced opportunities into high-quality engagements, and shape the growing pre‑sales function.

This is a career‑defining opportunity for a senior AWS Pre‑Sales Solutions Architect who thrives in client‑facing roles with hands‑on impact. You’ll guide prospects from discovery through proposals, partnering closely with AWS teams while enjoying primarily remote flexibility.

About the Role

Lead technical discovery, solution scoping, architecture diagrams, estimates, and client workshops/demos. Align solutions to AWS Well‑Architected Framework, manage AWS partnerships, and contribute reusable architectures/internal tooling. Support hiring and delivery handovers as the team scales.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven pre‑sales experience in scoping, estimating, and commercial proposals
• AWS Certifications (Such as Associate Solutions Architect, Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Professional certification)
• Confident communicator for end‑to‑end client interactions
• Nice‑to‑haves: Data/AI workloads, Well‑Architected Reviews, consulting background
