Overview

Solution Architect eCommerce (Azure) – Peterborough - Hybrid (2-3 days a week on site) – 6 months FTC / c. £75,000 base + bens pro-rata

Responsibilities

  • Define and own a cloud-native eCommerce architecture, ensuring performance, scalability and resilience.
  • Lead integration of payments (BACS, Faster Payments, vouchers), third‑party APIs and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Embed security and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS, government-level standards) across the platform.
  • Act as senior technical authority for stakeholders, driving the technology roadmap and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Robust experience in IT architecture, ideally in eCommerce.
  • Strong Azure cloud experience plus modern web tech (Blazor/.NET, React/Next.js) and API‑first design (REST/GraphQL).
