Solution Architect – Azure & Data Platforms

Spain (Hybrid) | Madrid or Barcelona – 1 day onsite per week

Up to €70,000 + package

A great opportunity to join a well-established European Financial Services organisation investing heavily in its cloud and data platforms across Europe.

This is a hands-on Solution Architect role, working closely with engineers and product teams to design and deliver modern Azure-based solutions. If you enjoy being close to delivery and seeing your designs go live, this role offers real impact and long-term stability.

What you'll be doing

• Designing modern Azure architectures across data and integration platforms (Databricks, Data Lake, Event Hub, Functions, APIs).
• Leading the modernisation of legacy platforms into cloud-native, scalable solutions.
• Working closely with engineering teams, translating architecture into solutions that are realistic and buildable.
• Providing technical leadership and governance across multiple delivery teams.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (Databricks or similar data platforms highly valued).
• Experience with data platforms, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
• Good working knowledge of .NET / .NET Core, enough to engage confidently with development teams.
• Fluent English required; Spanish-speaking environment, German is a plus.
