Job Purpose:The Solutions Engineer is a key contributor to the sales cycle by identifying key customer requirements related to content delivery and streaming services and match these requirements to specific Limelight Networks solutions. The Solutions Engineer leads the provision of pre-and post-sales support for new and existing clients and accounts. The Solutions Engineer directs, designs, documents and implements solutions incorporating business planning, network design and capacity planning.Essential Functions:Engage in conference calls, in person visits, respond to RFP/RFI’s and address all technical concerns during each phase of the sales cycle including implementation. Be the thought leader providing guidance to product development and mentoring to the sales organization.
