Sound Technician at Viking Cruises is a shipboard role responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio systems across various entertainment venues, including theaters, lounges, and outdoor spaces. 

Core Responsibilities

• Live Performance Support: Operate and mix audio for production shows, live bands, guest lecturers, and special events.
• System Setup: Prepare backline equipment, instrument microphones, and wireless microphone systems (e.g., Shure UHFR & ULXD ).
• Technical Programming: Program sound consoles and computers (using software like QLab 5 ) during technical rehearsals.
