Responsibilities, Authorities And Accountabilities
As a Category Specialist - Regional Mexico, Chemicals and Non-Metallics, you will be responsible for:
Work with the chemical businesses in Baker Hughes (OIC, DCF, PP) to identify buy opportunities in Mexico or Latam for Raw Materials or intermmediaries with a price or regional advantage.
This position is not limited to the Chemicals and Non-Metallic categories, as demand varies the candidate may be called to support Electrical & Electronics, Machining and Hardware or fabrications as demand calls for, or as support for regional coverage in case any of the suppliers is in the region where the position is physically located.
Searching, screening and proposing the right suppliers that can optimally meet the demand of the Western Hemisphere region.
Get NDA (Non-disclosure Agreements) signed by suppliers before releasing any confidential information to supplier.
