What You'll Do
This position involves creating and implementing sourcing strategy for MG in India. This includes development of new parts, resourcing existing parts, Localization, VAVE to achieve material cost reduction, managing material inflation / deflation & supporting materials team to meet production and inventory control.

This position is responsible for Sourcing Strategy for MG India, having following responsibility:
- Develop and deploy regional commodity strategy along with category leaders for assigned commodities to deliver YOY cost reduction.
- Identify supplier to meet the commodity requirements in terms of quality, cost, delivery and inventory control (including Kanban, VMI, consignment inventory programs).
- Monitor and track the commodity trends. Should have sound knowledge of Imports.
- Should have a detailed knowledge of should cost, cost sheet for each part in the related commodity.
