Overview

Cezars Kitchen is seeking a qualified Sous Chef to join our kitchen in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the head chef to prepare daily meals.
  • Plan menus by consulting with head chef, estimate food costs and profits.
  • Own transportation to/from work location.
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new recipes/processes and techniques.
  • Integrity to follow company policies and procedures (SOPs).
  • Kitchen operations management when Head Chef not present.
  • Familiar with Asian & Western Cuisine.
  • Familiar with inventory control system.
  • Familiar with waste management and cost control system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in either a) school kitchens, b) hotels or c) restaurants in the current job title.
