Job Description

The Toronto Blue Jays are seeking an experienced sous chef to fulfill an opening within our Major League kitchen.


This is a part-time contract, seasonal role aligned with the baseball season and schedule, spanning from approximately March 2026 to November 2026. 

Responsibilities 

  • Food preparation and quality control

  • Inventory and stock management for assigned area

  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food

  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers

  • Process and organize weekly food shipments and restock grocery shelves when needed

  • Help in the development and implementation of meal design

  • Ensure that food products, presentation, and preparation are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
