In‑Service Support – Design Engineer – Mirabel (hybrid 3 days a week)

Overview

As a part of a specialized group within the engineering team, you will support a commercial aircraft program as a Design Engineer specializing in in‑service support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the structural damage to the aircraft.
• Respond to aircraft grounded (AOG) situations and customer engineering requests.
• Investigate the cause of in‑service problems, resolve source of failures and find effective and innovative solutions.
• Propose repair solutions that align with sector regulations and customer requirements.
• Work in close collaboration with the design authorities (DA & DAD) and subject matter experts (SME) in stress, aero, materials & processes.
• Prepare design reports in English for certification purposes.
