1. Inventory Management- The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for
managing the inventory of spare parts, ensuring that they are available when
needed and that inventory levels are optimised to reduce costs.
2. Supply Chain Management-The Spare Parts Manager coordinates with
Suppliers and Vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts, negotiates pricing
and terms, and maintains healthy relationships with them.
3. Sales Analysis and Forecasting-The Spare Parts Manager analyze sales
trends and forecast demand for parts to ensure adequate stock levels are
maintained and to identify any potential issues before they arise.
4. Quality Assurance-The Spare Parts Manager ensures that all parts meet
quality and safety standards, and comply with regulatory requirements.
