The role requires full-time commitment during the current school year, with a schedule based on the assigned schools hours. Key Responsibilities: Deliver instruction aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study in a safe and inclusive environment Develop lesson plans and differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs Manage classroom behavior effectively and assess student learning progress Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff to support academic and social development Uphold district policies while ensuring student safety at all times Participate in professional development opportunities and supervise students as needed Perform additional duties to support student success and school operations Qualifications: Hold a valid Professional Educators License through the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Experience working in K-12 special education settings with demonstrated classroom strengths Ability to create adaptive and inclusive learning environments Reliable transportation and flexibility to meet scheduling needs Strong communication and classroom management skills Location:Mooresville, North Carolina (serving a local school district) Contract Type:Full-time contract for the current school year To be considered, candidates should prepare a presentation highlighting experience, certifications, and classroom strengths.
