This role focuses on providing specialized instruction, support, and advocacy to students with disabilities while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Coon Rapids, MN

• Start Date: ASAP 6/6/2025

• Schedule: Full-time, 7:15 AM 2:55 PM

• Caseload: K8 students, approximately 1015 students

• Setting: Resource/Inclusion, providing push-in and pull-out services

• Multiple openings available; specific caseload details discussed during the interview

Responsibilities:

• Create and administer lesson plans aligned with student IEP goals

• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Monitor student progress and ensure IEP goals are being met

• Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs

• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, accommodations, and assistive technologies

• Collaborate with parents/guardians, support staff, and related service providers

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field

• Active Minnesota teaching license

• Special Education or Academic Behavioral Strategist (ABS) endorsement required

• 2+ years of recent teaching experience preferred

• Strong understanding of special education laws, behavior management, and individualized instruction
