Special Education Teacher - Arvada, CO

A full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students in a K-12 school setting in the Denver area. This role involves co-teaching in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classrooms at designated elementary and P-8 schools. The position is contracted through the current school year and requires an active Colorado Department of Education certification with an Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for early childhood students (ages 0-8) with special needs in a co-teaching classroom environment.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom setting that encourages development and learning.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado DOE certification with Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement.
• Experience working with early childhood special education students preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with staff, families, and therapists.
• Ability to implement evidence-based instructional practices tailored to young learners with diverse needs.

Location:

• Schools located in the Denver, Colorado area.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time commitment (35+ hours per week) for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• Contract duration through the end of May 2026, with an immediate start date preferred.
