Special Education Teacher - Golden Hills Elementary - February 2025 Start

Description: To provide an instructional program for students with disabilities to enhance skills needed for future transitioning into the next phase of his/her life.

Qualifications: Nebraska Department of Education Teacher Certification in Special Education.

Salary: The school district pays based on a Negotiated Pay Scale determined by degree and years of experience.

Benefits: PLCS pays 100% of the healthcare premium for employee only PPO insurance plans and all high deductible plans. PLCS pays 93% of the premium for all other PPO plans. Through the Nebraska School Employees Retirement System, 9.78% of the gross salary is deposited into a retirement account. The District matches the contribution at the rate of 101%.
