A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving a middle school setting with a focus on mild to moderate caseloads. This contract role involves dedication to a single-site all-girls charter school in Denver, CO, where collaboration and student-focused education are prioritized. Responsibilities: Manage and support an individual caseload of approximately 30 middle school students with mild to moderate special education needs. Co-teach English classes, working closely with general education teachers to adapt and implement curriculum to meet diverse learner needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement. Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student success. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with middle school students, particularly in a co-teaching environment. Strong knowledge of special education laws and instructional strategies for mild to moderate disabilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Commitment to supporting the academic and social-emotional development of students. Location: Denver, Colorado Schedule and Duration: Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year.
