Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in Fountain, CO, this position offers an opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade under a contract running from November 20, 2025, through May 22, 2026. Both part-time (15 hours per week) and full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) schedules are available, with assignments ranging from 2 to 5 days per week. Qualifications: Bachelors degree (B.A., A.B., B.S., or equivalent) Meets subject, grade level, and/or content area qualifications in accordance with Colorado Department of Education standards Holds an Initial or Professional Teacher License from the Colorado Department of Education Responsibilities: Design and deliver tailored learning experiences for K-12 students with special education needs Utilize a variety of evidence-based instructional strategies and technology to facilitate student learning Participate actively in professional learning communities to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes Continuously assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly Collaborate regularly with colleagues and families to support academic, social, and emotional growth Maintain open communication regarding student development and progress This role provides highly competitive compensation with pay rates between $45 and $50 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.
