Position: Special Education Teacher

Contract Length: 25-26' School Year

Compensation: Up to $55/hr based on experience

Job Description:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  
• Create and maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment.
  
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student.
  
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students' success.
  
• Monitor and assess students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  
• Provide emotional and behavioral support to students.
  
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
  

Education and Certification Requirements:

• All candidates must have Colorado Department of Education licenses, or be able to prove that licensure is pending.
