Job Description

  • Assess students to identify learning, behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs

  • Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Adapt teaching methods, materials, and assessments to meet diverse learning needs

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction

  • Use evidence-based strategies to support learning and behavior management

  • Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, counselors, and administrators

  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs

  • Support students in developing social skills, independence, and self-confidence
