Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Needs Teacher to join our team. As a Special Needs Teacher, you will be responsible for:
•Individualized Education Program (IEP) Development and Implementation: Creating and implementing personalized learning plans that address each student's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
• Differentiated Instruction: Employing a variety of teaching strategies and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conducting ongoing assessments to track student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed.
• Collaboration: Working collaboratively with parents, therapists, counselors, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to education.
• Behavior Management: Implementing positive behavior support strategies to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Certification: Valid teaching license in Special Education or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience working with students with special needs.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
• Language: Fluency in Arabic and English.
Additional Considerations:
• Experience with specific disabilities (e.g., autism, learning disabilities, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Lebanese educational system is beneficial.
