Overview

:
  • Provide one-to-one support for a KS2 pupil with PMLD

  • Support personal care needs with dignity and sensitivity

  • Use alternative communication methods to support a non-verbal pupil

  • Promote engagement, comfort and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day

  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team

  • Maintain a safe, supportive and structured learning environment

  • About You:

  • Experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex needs

  • Comfortable providing personal care

  • Patient, compassionate and reliable

  • Able to follow care plans, EHCP targets and guidance from professionals

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
