Specialist Associate (Research Computing Resource Technician)

The Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials (I-FIM) is seeking a specialist associate to provide essential day‑to‑day IT and AV support within the institute, helping to maintain smooth operations for end‑user computing, institute's IT services, and seminar/event support. You will be the primary on‑site point of contact for support requests and will coordinate resolution through to closure, including escalation to NUS IT and vendors when required.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues (e.g., endpoints, peripherals, printers, common applications), including timely user updates and follow‑through to closure
• Provide AV and hybrid meeting support for seminars, events, and meetings (e.g., Zoom/Teams setup, microphones, cameras, displays), including pre‑checks and live support when required
