McDonalds has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist, Financial Systems FAW. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the Financial Analytics Workspace (FAW), a key reporting and analytics platform within the Record-to-Report (RTR) ecosystem. The Specialist assists with system configuration, testing, and documentation to ensure financial data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with enterprise reporting standards. This position reports to the Supervisor, Financial Systems RTR (FCC, Workiva, & EDM) and plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the finance organization.

The candidate is expected to reside in Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of system enhancements and updates for FAW.
• Assist in gathering and documenting technical and functional requirements for financial reporting workflows.
• Provide support for deployment activities, including implementation, execution, and adoption of FAW solutions.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and configuration efforts to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve system issues and provide guidance on FAW usage.
• Maintain documentation and support materials for FAW users across global markets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reporting accuracy, data integrity, and user experience.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Certifications in financial analytics platforms or reporting tools are a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance systems or reporting operations
• English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4)
• Basic understanding of financial reporting and analytics workflows
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Effective communicator with ability to support diverse user groups
• Experience supporting system testing, documentation, and deployment
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and escalate issues appropriately
