Job Description
QE Automation Engineer (Playwright / Selenium)
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Build efficient, reusable, and reliable automation scripts for web applications on both desktop and mobile platforms.
Utilize Selenium, WebdriverIO, and other automation tools as needed.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines—preferably GitHub Actions.
Perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting to identify root causes of defects and automation failures.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, QA architects, and other stakeholders to define testing strategies and resolve issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation standards, best practices, and coverage.
Ensure high-quality delivery through functional, regression, and cross-browser testing. 3–10 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Exposure to WebdriverIO and experience with broader web automation frameworks.
Solid understanding of automation architecture, test strategy, and good coding practices.
Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate complex issues effectively. Experience with API testing frameworks.
Knowledge of additional tools such as Cypress, Appium, RestAssured.
Experience with cloud-based test execution platforms.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
