Job Description

• Develop and implement reliability strategies to optimise equipment performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve asset reliability and minimise downtime.
• Monitor and evaluate equipment performance metrics to recommend improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Support the Capital Projects teams in project definition and delivery, this includes providing guidance on the maintenance strategy to the Operational Readiness teams
• Support maintenance teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reliability processes and practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Specialist Reliability Engineer should have:

• Qualifications in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Mechatronics) or a related field.
• Experience/knowledge of track maintenance activities
• Proven expertise in reliability engineering within the rail and natural resources industry.
• Skills and Knowledge of track design and foundations and engineering is highly advantageous
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
• Familiarity with reliability tools and software.
• Commitment to safety and compliance in engineering practices.
