Specialist / Senior Specialist – HR Systems Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist/Senior Specialist with strong experience in testing HR systems and managing large-scale implementation testing activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in HR tools, a solid understanding of people data, and experience working within regulated environments. Knowledge of IT change management, defect management, and GxP processes will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of HR systems such as Workday, Ultipro, Greenhouse, and VNDLY .
• Understand people data and create, manage, and validate test records within HR systems.
• Test onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors.
• Support and execute large-scale HR system implementation testing activities .
• Create and maintain test documentation , including:
• Test protocols
• Risk assessments
• Traceability matrices
• Ensure clear understanding of business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Log, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and vendors to ensure testing quality and timely delivery.
• Support IT change management processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in testing HR systems/applications.
• Hands-on experience with HR tools such as Workday, Ultipro, Greenhouse, and VNDLY .
• Strong understanding of HR business processes , especially onboarding and offboarding.
• Experience working with ServiceNow for incident, change, or request management.
• Proficiency in testing and defect management tools such as ValGenesis, HP ALM, and JIRA .
• Strong experience in test planning, execution, and documentation .
• Solid knowledge of IT change management and defect management processes .
• Ability to handle complex testing scenarios in large implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
