Specialist Track Engineer

PERSOL is proud to partner with a top-tier mining operator in the Pilbara to recruit an experienced Specialist Track Engineer - to support rail maintenance operations at a major Pilbara site.

Pay Range : $120hr - $165 hr + Super

Roster : Primarily site based 5/2:4/3 (Flexible with WFH)

Contract : Initial 6 months contract potential for on-going work

In this role, you will provide technical leadership to improve track asset reliability, maintenance performance, and lifecycle outcomes through data-driven analysis and structured continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse asset and maintenance performance to drive reliability improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Optimise asset lifecycle and maintenance strategies.
• Support capital planning, business cases, and operational readiness.
• Provide frontline reliability support to maintenance teams.

About You

• Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar).
• Proven reliability or maintenance engineering experience in rail, mining, or heavy industry.
• Track maintenance knowledge is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and SAP experience.
• Safety-focused with strong stakeholder engagement capability.
