The clinical oncology service for children and young people with malignancy has a significant international reputation and has an established record in innovative radiotherapy techniques.
The Children's and Young People's Unit has an excellent, well established paediatric oncology nursing service and there is excellentmultidisciplinary care with well-developed integrated psychosocial, educational and family support.
Main duties of the job
The Oak Centre for Children and Young People is one of the largest comprehensive children's cancer centres in Europe, and the principal treatmentcentre for all children with cancer in the South Thames area. It is also home to one of Europe's largest and leading drug development programmesin paediatric oncology.
