Job Description
Provides the leadership and expertise to direct or perform work within the Radiation Protection Department with limited or no direct supervision. Responsible for pre-job briefs, assigning work and ensuring that work is completed with high quality and in an efficient manner. This position requires a high degree of initiative, ingenuity, and organizational skills. This individual is responsible to implement the daily or emergent plan and schedule accordingly.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Duties include but are not limited to:
1) Performs or directs the daily activities of Radiation Protection Technicians at SSES. Works with little or no direct supervision.
2) Attends meetings and training as required or requested.
3) Participates in lessons learned discussions, root cause discussions, troubleshooting plans, etc.
