Job Summary
The Specimen Technician (SPT I) provides general support within the Specimen Processing Department, performing a variety of production-focused laboratory support functions. This role requires a strong data entry background, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a high-volume, biohazard environment while meeting strict quality and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Perform specimen processing support functions including A-station, presort, pickup and delivery, imaging/microfilming, centrifugation, and aliquoting. Ensure all work is completed with accuracy, confidence, and timeliness. Enter data at a rate of , alphanumeric keystrokes per hour.
