The job

of SpEd Para II is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program under the direction of an assigned clasroom teacher with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care and instruction of special needs students in the regular classroom or in a self-contained classroom; assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student behavior during instructional and non-instructional time; and providing information to appropriate school personnel.

This position is for a special class for students with emotional behavior disabilities. Applicants must demonstrate ability to make quick decisions and problem solve, while remaining calm and in control.
Specific on the job training will be provided.
