Job Description
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to serve students in a K-12 school setting located in Millbrook, Alabama. This contract position runs for the current school year and involves providing comprehensive speech and language support to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team
