Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required

  • School-based experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams

Location: Thornton, CO
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Student Population: K8
Caseload: Approximately 50 students

  • 36 mild/moderate

  • 14 moderate/severe

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals

  • Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements

  • Support students across a range of communication needs in both individual and group settings
