Job Description
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Pittsford, NY, serving primarily elementary school students with some high school cases in a K-12 setting. This contract position runs from September 2025 through June 2026, offering a chance to work near the scenic Letchworth State Park.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 28 students. Collaboration with educators, school staff, and families is essential to support student success, along with active participation in IEP meetings and progress monitoring to ensure effective interventions.
Qualifications for this role require a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one, and preferably experience working with school-aged children. Strong communication skills, a teamwork mindset, and familiarity with IEP processes and educational laws are critical to thriving in this position.
