Job Description

SUBJECT: SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - PRESCHOOL - CPPI GRANT FUNDED


REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION AND INTERVENTION SERVICES





ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:


This position is accountable for coordinating the responsibility of providing diagnostic and therapeutic services though sound judgment, creativity and resourcefulness consistent with the federal and state laws and policies of the Worcester Public Schools and in compliance with state and federal Special Education regulations.



In addition, this position includes responsibilities under the Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative (CPPI) Grant, which supports early childhood education and intervention services. The therapist will maintain a caseload at community-based preschool
