Guide patients and their families with education that extends progress beyond therapy sessions. Facilitate occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the recovery process. Keep thorough and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain abreast of advancements in your field. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized and accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet attained. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within the initial 30 days of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-driven treatment methods suitable for all age groups, combined with a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams effectively.
