Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This is a full-time position and require time at each of our member districts. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children and adults. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adults
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results
- Provide therapy to clients with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, physicians, and psychologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure or eligibility for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with children and adults with speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in the use of technology for teletherapy services.
