Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Experience working with children, preferably in schools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge ofIEP processes and educational laws

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Providedirect therapy servicesfocusing on speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement accommodations & modifications
  • Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Participate inIEP meetingsand contribute to goal setting
  • Provide consultation and resources for parents and caregivers
