From 1 January 2026, Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health and Nexus Primary Health will merge to form a new, unified not for profit community health organisation, Omnia Community Health. This decision follows an extensive exploration process that confirmed the merger will improve access to safe, high quality, and sustainable health and community services across the Hume, Macedon Ranges, Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie local government areas. The new organisation will bring together the deep community connections, shared values and specialist expertise of both entities. Services will span general practice, allied health, disability support, mental health, early childhood, family services, aged care and community wellbeing, delivered from sites in Broadford, Kinglake, Kyneton, Romsey, Seymour, Sunbury and Wallan, with additional outreach into surrounding areas.
About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate Grade 2 Speech Pathologist to join our Child and Youth Health team and make a meaningful impact in the local Sunbury and Macedon Ranges community. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse funding streams, including NDIS, Community Health, and School Readiness Funding.
- Grade 2 Speech Pathologist with clinical experience in community health settings
- EFT 0.6 to 1.0 (minimum of 3 days per week)
- Work with children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 years
- On site therapy in our contemporary clinics and outreach services
- Opportunities to provide clinical mentoring and/or clinical education
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, audiologists, music therapist, and allied health assistants
- Professional development, study leave opportunities and salary packaging ($15.9K) available
- Visiting eligible kindergartens and providing coaching and professional development to staff
- Facilitating multi disciplinary and speech pathology groups
- Completing initial assessments or providing one on one therapy
